Visual Designer
Description: This creative position in our company works with and reports to the Senior Designer. He or she is expected to help execute creative concepts and collaborate with the Senior Designer. Some HTML production on internal and client related projects will be expected also.
Required Experience: Macintosh and PC literacy, skills in graphic design in the interactive sector. Proficient skills in Photoshop are required, experience in Illustrator and/or Fireworks a plus. Must be familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets.
Preferred Experience: Photoshop and web page layout. Cutting up Photoshop into HTML. Advanced standards based HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets. Skills in PHP, mySQL and Drupal CMS a big plus!
Important Attributes: Photoshop and web portfolio examples you can demonstrate are a plus. CSS experience and understanding a big plus.
Primary Responsibilities: Assists with project tasks in creating graphics and full delivery of look and feel for certain projects. Develops innovative ideas and concepts that both satisfy client needs and provide exceptional usability.
Secondary Responsibilities: Marketing graphics and printed materials for the Agency. Builds newsletters in 3rd party email campaign tool. Works on other internal agency projects.
